The passive, tension-free fit of the meso and suprastructures on the osseointegrated implants is scientifically an important requirement for long-term osseointegration of the implants. The SAE spark erosion procedure is the technical requirement for this.

As the optimal fit of the metal structure is corrected using spark erosion at the end of the dental technicians's work process, interdisciplinary cooperation between the dental practice and the laboratory is absolutely essential.

Together with the universities in Tübingen and Berlin, SAE Dental and Rübeling Dental-Labor have developed verifiable working steps and tried and tested technical procedures of use in the dental practice and the laboratory.
